"Lovely coffee place with tasty cakes and very nice service"
"Super friendly staff, always fresh and delicious food, located in a great area."
"Delicious almond Croissant and babka with nice atmosphere and staffs."
5 Very nice atmosphere, the service was really kind and lovely, the coffee was one of the best we had in a long time!!! We really liked the sandwiches, the egg salad is to die for! Aslo excellent selection of pastries what was also amazingly delicious! We definitely coming back if ever in Barcelona again:)
5 So this was the instagram recommendation of our list of culinary places to go to in the trip. Some insta influencers variously tagged this as "must do" and "best brunch in Barcelona" ..... Interestingly neither ChatGPT not Gemini recommended this place.... But we decided to trust influencer intelligence over artificial one for once.... This was also only 5 min walk away from our hotel... Now one thing to note is that Lady Babka is the cafe/desserts place of the establishment.... "Bistrot by Lady Babka" is right across the street and under the same management... And that has all the restaurant/Savory food so that's where we went The decor of both places is great, pastel hued with moderately bright lighting and some retro themes.... We ordered their Shakshuka, which was the first time I noticed a shakshuka that was made with only 2 eggs.... Usually they have atleast 3... They served it with some bread.... The eggs were moderately runny and the sauce mildly spiced... It was a pretty good shakshuka overall But the piece de resistance of our breakfast came afterwards with the pistachio croissant that was delectable centerfilled!! Everything about that was perfect and it was the best thing we got from this place... The star of our order The beverages (flat white and lemonade) were also very nice We got their classic babka to go, which in hindsight perhaps was a mistake.... I imagine it is best enjoyed hot... We had ours to go and ate it in the train on the way to Girona... It was still good but cold at that point and so I recommend to others not to repeat our mistake... On the whole, the place has an excellent decor, very courteous staff who appear very comfortable in English... I do recommend it... Not with the gushing effervescence of the insta influencers who guided us to it, but hey, I don't need likes and views, now , do I?
5 Such great vibes! We tried babka, which I really like, and I think their croissant with greens inside was also really really good so you should try that. Great vibes, so fun! Also there is a really nice building nearby
5 We were passing through Barcelona and stopped by especially to try the pastries. We really liked everything — it was all delicious.
5 We came to Lady Babka for a coffee and to meet some friends of ours. I absolutely loved this cafe. The aesthetic/vibe was very relaxing and chic. I also tried their homemade basqued cheesecake and I am not exaggerating when I say that it may be the best cheesecake I've ever had. I quite literally was shocked at the first bite by how delicious it was.
5 super hard to decide because everything looks fantastic, loooved the triangle with feta and spinach, the coffee and the almond croissant:) very nice place!
5 Superb!!!! Delicious bites, breakfast plates, pastries, and coffee. Chic and calming atmosphere, and perfect for a duo or groups. Scrambled eggs and avocado were yummy, and of course the sourdough bread crispy and tasty. It’s a must, if you’re looking for a cafe/brunch styled breakfast in the heart of one of Barcelona’s best neighborhoods.
5 I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Bakery and the Bistro in one weekend! I have been staying in Grácia and have had a lot of amazing food, but there was something truly special about Lady Babka and the quality of the pastries and food served. Everything is exceptional. The servers were welcoming and knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. I highly recommend it!
Customers often rave about the babka, egg salad sandwiches, croissants with greens, and the homemade Basque cheesecake.
It’s great for both—a cozy place to enjoy a leisurely brunch or a quick coffee with a pastry.
Yes, dogs are welcome both inside and outside the cafe.
Yes, there is outdoor seating and the entrance is wheelchair accessible, though there is no wheelchair accessible parking lot.
It’s perfect for solo visits or casual meetups with friends thanks to its cozy, quiet, and trendy atmosphere.
